Our Story

In the heart of their woodworking shop near Walkerton Ontario, Paul and Sam found inspiration beyond the artistic pieces of furniture they crafted for their clients. Surrounded by discarded wood scraps that normally got used as kindling, they saw potential to create useful items. With a shared commitment to sustainability and creativity, they embarked on a new venture: Kindling!

Driven by their passion for craftmanship and a desire to make a difference, Paul and Sam poured their hearts into Kindling. They carefully transformed these humble scraps into everyday items that radiated warmth and charm, each carrying a story of renewal and purpose.

Through Kindling, Paul and Sam found a deeper connection to their craft and a renewed sense of purpose. Their journey wasn't just about building beautiful furniture - it was about embracing sustainability, igniting creativity, and positively impacting their community.

Together, Paul and Sam proved that from the smallest scraps, great beauty could emerge, igniting a spark of inspiration in everyone they sold to.

Where The Inspiration Was Born

Why Kindling

The name "Kindling" came from imagining and creating wood art from scraps of wood that would otherwise be used for kindling to start fires
